Bank DKI distributes a total of Rp5 billion in humanitarian assistance to support the handling of COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta. The assistance consisted of participation in the Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program worth Rp2.25 Billion, the provision of Personal Protective Equipment worth Rp844.5 million and medical team humanitarian assistance amounting to Rp638 million. Previously Bank DKI had also implemented various CSR programs totaling Rp1.3 billion for handling Covid-19. The delivery of aid was carried out symbolically from the President Director of Bank DKI, Zainuddin Mappa to the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan in Jakarta (05/18).
Zainuddin Mappa explained that the donation was sourced from employee donations, Bank DKI Cares, Bank DKI CSR budget and Bank DKI Zakat Service Unit. For KSBB sourced from employee donations, for the provision of Personal Protective Equipment sourced from Bank DKI Cares collected from the concerns of customers and also Bank DKI employees through the Bank DKI Zakat Service Unit, while for medical team consumption consumption assistance is sourced from the Bank DKI CSR budget.
In connection with the participation of the Bank DKI in KSBB amounting to Rp2.25 billion will be submitted to the Zakat House and Baznas DKI Jakarta each amounting to Rp1.12 billion. As for the delivery of PPE, Zainuddin explained that the assistance would be given to medical personnel in 15 DKI Jakarta Regional Hospital. The hospitals that received CSR assistance from Bank DKI included Cengkareng Hospital, Pasar Minggu Hospital, Tarakan Regional Hospital, Duren Sawit Regional Hospital, Koja Regional Hospital, Tanah Abang Regional Hospital, Tugu Koja Regional Hospital, Kalideres Regional Hospital, Kembangan Regional Hospital, Kramat Regional Hospital, Kramat Regional Hospital Jati, RSUD Sawah Besar, RSUD Pasar Rebo, RSUD Budhi Asih, RSUD Kepulauan Seribu.
The total PPE assistance consisted of 3,750 PPE and Masks each, 450 glasses, hand gloves and face shields each, 750 hand sanitizers. He said that the PPE given was in accordance with applicable health standards.
As for humanitarian assistance for the Covid-19 medical team is a form of synergy between the Bank DKI and Jakarta Tourisindo. The consumption is given to medical personnel staying at the Grand Cempaka Hotel. The provision of consumption assistance has been given to Jakarta Tourisindo in April 2020.
Since the co-19 pandemic took place, Bank DKI has carried out various CSR programs valued at Rp1.3 billion, including the construction of a hand wash basin with PAM Jaya in the DKI Jakarta area, Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to medical staff at Cengkareng Regional Hospital and Pulau Tidung Regional Hospital, giving laptops to the medical team Giving food packages to residents of Jakarta, printing 1,730 communication materials in the form of posters, banners and X-banners with the theme "Prevention of Covid-19 Virus Spread" in synergy with the Jakarta Communication and Information Agency, printing 35,000 (thirty-five thousand) communication materials in the form of socialization poster on DKI Jakarta Governor's Call Number 9 of 2020 related to the use of masks to prevent Covid-19 transmission, printing of 3,000 (three thousand) RT / RW Alert Book for Pandemic Covid-19 Provincial Government of DKI Jakartaand provision of basic food for employees & retirees of Bank DKI as well Public. In the future, Bank DKI will also hand hand soap to residents of Flats and Donations of orphans in Jakarta.
